Just when you thought you found the one…. there comes a better product!
For the past year, I’ve tried a lot of cleansers. Having an oily skin, I started with the belief that squeaky clean means that it’s doing its job well. I feel more content with these facial wash that cleans with no residue feeling. I didn’t know that this was a big no no. Harsh cleansers strip off your skin’s natural oil and moisture which may lead to compromised skin barrier. (Prone to breakouts, crazy oil production)
Cleansers play a huge role on your skin because its the base of your routine. A clean canvass is a great analogy! A great routine works effectively on a clean and healthy base.
When I started double cleansing, that’s the time I was able to appreciate gentle cleansers. I love cleansers with milky consistency and those with less to no foam. ~ I love using skincorrectph m-gentle cleanser (125g – ₱300) and tinkerskin low ph cleanser (renewal) (30g – ₱300). They are both local products!

I bought this at watsons for only ₱385.00 (100g) Compared to most cleansers, this is really cheap!
It’s more of a cream type cleanser because of its thick consistency. It doesn’t have artificial fragrance so it has little to no scent (kinda reminds me a little of rice/milk scent). It foams well but no stripping feeling and no film/residue. After washing, my skin felt soft, smooth and moisturized. I really love the texture of my skin after using this. I don’t know why this cleanser is not hyped up, I’ve been using this for a month and it has become my favorite!
I was shookt lol. I didn’t know cleansers can feel hydrating and moisturizing. Did I mention this is free of colorant, alcohol and mineral oil. I would definitely recommend this to those who have dry or dehydrated skin. My skin is normal to oily but this works well with me too.
If you ask me now what cleanser I’d recommend, I will definitely choose Hada Labo’s hydrating wash. Performance and price point approved! Will definitely repurchase.
