Hi loves! I’m baaack!! Sorry for being MIA for a couple of months.

I’ve been eyeing on this hyped tint for months and finally I was able to try Peripera’s Ink Velvets. This tint is so famous among beauty vloggers and enthusiast that made me so intrigued. It is dubbed as the “panlaban” (super long lasting) tint. Sooo I had to (I just had to) try it!

  • Peri’s Ink Velvet #7 (Dollish Beige Rose)
  • Cloud Ink Velvet #5 (Reddish Rose)
  • Airy Ink Velvet #8 (Glimpse Brick Brown)

Peri’s Ink Velvet

Shade: #7 Dollish beige rose

Velvet22

Claims:

  • Pink-MLBB color
  • High-color payoff for fuller-looking or gradient lips
  • A velvet-smooth texture for soft, flake-free lips
  • Vivid lip color stays put even after 6 hours
  • Extra staying power after color completely dries

Chami’s Review:

  • Lasting Power: 4/5 (Most long lasting among the 3)
  • Pigmented: 4/5 (Most pigmented among the 3)
  • Packaging: Color of the packaging is not the same as the color payoff.
  • Color payoff on Morena skin is more like Bright Pink when it dries (Shade is best for “pabebe” look)
  • Applicator: doe foot
  • Scent: Sweet Strawberry smell
  • Creamy & velvety on first apply. Dries out as matte.
  • Transfer-proof when dries out.
  • A bit drying on the lips. (You should exfoliate your lips and put lip balm first)

Cloud Ink Velvet

Shade: #5 Reddish Rose

Claims:

  • Deep Red Color
  • An upgraded version of ink velvet
  • Has a cozy color, soft as clouds
  • Long-lasting and non-drying matte finish

Chami’s Review:

  • Lasting Power: 3/5
  • Pigment: 4/5
  • Packaging: Color of the packaging is not the same as the color payoff.
  • Color payoff is Red Orange on any skin type. (Shade is not what they promised it would be)
  • Applicator: Flat type
  • Scent: Sweet Vanilla Scent
  • Creamy and velvety on first apply. Feels like cloud on your lips. Dries out as matte.
  • Not drying

Airy Ink Velvet

Shade: #8 Glimpse Brick Brown

Velvet24 (1)

Claims:

  • Brick brown color
  • Weightless with 200% color payoff
  • Makes your lips a flower-like bloom with smooth and soft velvety touch
  • An airy weightless texture, but you can get bold color and moisture

Chami’s Review:

  • Lasting Power: 2/5 (it’s definitely not transfer-proof and food proof. On one eating, it’s gone!)
  • Pigment: 2/5 (It’s like I have nothing on my lips, **depends on the shade)
  • Packaging: Airy has a white frosted packaging compared to the first 2.
  • Color payoff is Brownish nude with a bit of red on Morena skin. (So sad with the color payoff on my lips. It’s really not noticeable on me because I have dark edged lips)
  • Applicator: Doe Foot with an air passageway at the center
  • Scent: Fruity Gummy Scent (Super in love with the scent)
  • Creamy, a bit watery on first apply. Feels like cloud on your lips.
  • Not drying, Not Transfer-proof

I almost gave my airy velvet #8 away because I’m not really happy with how it looked on my lips. But when I tried it on my cheeks, it looks really good! It’s a very natural kind of drunk blush. Consistency is very easy to apply on the cheeks. And I super duper love the smell. It has a fruity gummy like scent.

Just a tip, go for the boldest color if you’re gonna purchase the airy ones specially if you have dark lips like me.

What I really look for in lip tints are its pigmentation and lasting power. The reason is because I have dark-edged lips and I don’t like to reapply very often. So personally, I love the Peri’s Ink Velvet the most. You can work on the dryness by exfoliating and using balm before application. I will definitely try other shades! (Excited for Celeb Deep Rose, Inktude Rose and Beauty Peak Rose).
